We live in Chico, California and minister with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) locally and globally.
OUR MISSION IN A NUTSHELL
Our mission has been shifting recently. We had been involved in discipling young adults through a 6 month school called Discipleship Training School (DTS) But recently our mission has been to see Muslims reached with the love of Jesus in the 10-40 window and also decreasing maternal and infant mortality through safe pregnancy and childbirth in Africa.
WCC CONNECTION
Joy grew up at WCC and her parents (Kevin & Norma Cooper) used to attend and serve there as well. We as a family have been members for a number of years.
MINISTRY TIMELINE
We began serving at YWAM in Chico in 2012. We returned to Canada for a sabbatical in August 2019 and have now returned to the field with YWAM North Africa as of 2020.
HOW TO SUPPORT
Prayer support, financially, and keeping in touch helps us stay connected and reminds us we’re not out here all alone but our community is supporting us and hasn’t forgotten us.
