WHERE I SERVE

I work with Power to Change - Students (P2C-S) as a full time staff member, helping students at the University of Waterloo (UW) take their next step towards Jesus.

MY MISSION IN A NUTSHELL

I recognize and firmly believe that an encounter with Christ as a young person changes everything. By helping students in university know and find life in Jesus Christ, we have the potential to shape not only their identity and eternity, but also their future careers, relationships, families, neighbourhoods, and so much more. I know that we were all created to know God through His Son, and P2C-S exists to spread that message in places where young people will most likely inhabit in their post-high school years: university and college campuses. Through affiliating as a club on campus, we help students become or grow as followers of Jesus through discipleship bible study groups, one-on-one student discipleship, weekly prayer gatherings, outreach events, campus evangelism, weekly community gatherings, partnerships with local churches, and more.

WCC CONNECTION

WCC has been my home church since I was 7 years old. It’s where I have grown up and it is the church that has helped to launch me in my mission with P2C-S.

MINISTRY TIMELINE

After being transformed by this ministry as a student, I joined staff with P2C-S shortly after graduating. I started on campus in November of 2020, and am now approaching my third year as a campus staff member!

HOW TO SUPPORT

Please pray. Ministry on the University campus is difficult, and myself, my team, and our students cannot do it without wisdom, the power of the Spirit at work, and discernment. I also am financially supported by donors who want to partner with me in the ministry God is doing at UW. If you want to learn more about my ministry, receive prayer updates, donate financially, or receive my monthly update emails please send me an email and I would love to chat further.
