In a world full of bad news, we want you to hear some good news.
The good news is that you were created by a good and loving Heavenly Father, the Creator of the world, and He desperately wants to be close to you, now and forever. In fact, He made a way to make that happen, through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ, the distance between us and our Creator, the result of sin entering into our hearts, our actions, and our world, has been taken care of. What does this good news require from us? Belief.
The Bible, the divinely inspired message of God, that was written down and compiled throughout the ages, to tell the story of God’s love and redemption, says this:
“For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
The promise of eternal life, spent in the presence of God, experiencing His goodness forever, is a wonderful gift. And yet, God’s goodness does not stop there, because the good news of Jesus’ sacrifice is that we can have life that is abundant and fulfilled, here and now.
Jesus says, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” John 10:10.
What is a full life?
A full life is not defined by the things we have, the people we know, or the status we enjoy - because the truth is, we can have all of those things and still feel unfulfilled. We experience fullness in life when our souls are filled with unconditional love, deep hope, abiding joy, and unshakeable peace that are not dependent on our past experiences or current circumstances.
The good news of Jesus Christ is for everyone. It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve said ‘no.’ Jesus is still ready, waiting for your ‘yes.’
