Jamie grew up in the U.S. Midwest with the unique combination of liturgical Lutheran and non-denominational charismatic church backgrounds. He relocated to Ontario in the late 1990's to be closer to the love of his life, whom he met while travelling together for two summers with a Christian performing arts group.
He has spent the past two decades giving leadership to programming and live production in ministry within the Canadian BIC church and for large-scale live events, directing live television, and serving in leadership within the Christian non-profit sector. He and his family spent six of the previous ten years serving in rural Zambia with Mennonite Central Committee and the Canadian BIC church.
Jamie is married to his bride, Arja-Lisa, and together they have two young adult daughters, Kanah and Talya, and a pre-teen son, Ranen.
In his personal time, he loves driving or operating any machine that has an engine - particularly motorcycles, tractors, and chainsaws. He is an avid kayaker who loves the surprise around each bend of a river.
He is excited to bring his passion to create environments for worship and opportunities for volunteers to serve using live production to the community at Wilmot Centre Church.
