James Ferber has grown up as a part of Wilmot Centre Church, and has volunteered in various ministries over the years. James met his wife, Kelly, in 2013, and he joined Kelly in ministry on the Caledonia Reserve. They have continued to work in various ministries, but found themselves ministering together in Wilmot Centre Church in 2018. At the time, Kelly was overseeing children's ministry and James moved into the youth and young adult pastor’s position where he now continues to serve as the Next Generations Pastor. James completed his teacher’s degree and was working as a grade 5/6 teacher and vice-principal before he heard the call to ministry and made the transition out of teaching.
James and Kelly have four children, two boys, Elijah and Jace, and two girls, Emery and Tiffany. James and Kelly love to lead an active life, and they head out as often as they can on bike rides, hikes, and camping adventures. James loves to spend his spare time on building projects, canoeing and kayaking, camping, playing sports, and spending time with friends and family.
